Forged Containers began with a friendship and a shared vision: to turn steel containers into high-quality spaces, built to last and forged right here in Britain.
Two trades, one ambition.
Karl Wallis and Dave Simpson met through business and soon realised they shared more than a working relationship — they shared a vision.
Karl runs a successful design-and-build company across the commercial and residential sectors; Dave has led the way in self-storage sites, container sales and welfare units. Between them: decades of hands-on experience, two complementary skill sets, and one ambition — to create something unique, built to last, and forged right here in Britain.
From that ambition, Forged Containers was born.
How we work
Container-first thinking.
The best conversions respect the shell they start with. Instead of hiding every trace of the container, the design works with the steel structure, then adds insulation, glazing, services, and finishes where they matter most.
